10 priority projects in 2023, primarily the Consumer Protection Law


 

Ten projects have been included in the Ministry of Commerce’s priority list as part of its efforts to review and update regulations and legislation in order to achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 aiming to create an attractive investment environment for local and international investors and promote the competitiveness of the business sector within the Kingdom at the regional and international levels.

The Ministry highlighted six laws and four regulations, which are the Consumer Protection Law, the Commercial Register Law, the Trademark Law, the Commercial Transaction Law, the Franchise Brokerage Law, and the regulations for establishing government companies. The four regulations are the Family Companies Charter, the Corporate Governance Regulation, the Implementing Regulation for the Commercial Register Law, and the Implementing Regulation for the Trade Name Law.
